why are daffodils starting to grow already?
why are daffodils starting to grow already?
noticed lots of daffodil leaves sprouting out the ground, never seen them come up this early before! not even midwinter yet! wont the snow and frost kill them back off again?
Re: why are daffodils starting to grow already?
I've got them coming up as well, only the dwarf types but they seem to appear from early December so are probably an early blooming type........................didn't see them last year though, wonder why ..............oh yeah, buried under a foot of snow
Re: why are daffodils starting to grow already?

Not unusual. Some years the Crocuses are starting to show before Christmas. Not seen any this year yet.
Best regards
