Re: Last Feed
End of august.
Re: Last Feed
Ground plants end of August. Most container plants end of September (completed last Sunday for this year.) I've been known to finish this mid-October when autumn still behaves like summer such as last year.
Nothing like that forecast this year so finished early.

Re: Last Feed
Haven't fed mine since mid August, there seemed little point with the lack of sunshine.

But I would do it in spring now, if I kept them in pots as you do.

No wonder your garden looks cr@pDave Brown wrote:Haven't fed mine since April
Whats your regime boss, copious amounts of slow release?
Re: Last Feed
The last feed any of mine had must have been a good 10 years ago, its even possible that I have never fed any of them after planting, I just cant remember ever doing it.
Do Trachys need feeding ? Not here they dont.

Re: Last Feed
Thanks again,
Ade, if your correct and Trachi does'nt need feeding then could this being fed twice a year as I have (as Nig says mine is potted) be the reason for the brown tips?
Or is it the sun when it was out, (no shade in this garden) or too much rain.

Re: Last Feed
I gave all mine a little bit of palm fertiliser when first planted in the ground and that was it. Potted palms don't get any feed at all, just a top up once a year with fresh compost if needed.
