Frankincense tree's.

It's probably a bridge to far in our climate but is it possible to grow one from seed?, ive bought some seed fresh fruit/cone like back with me, not sure if you propagate them this way though?. karl.

I'm sure you will be able to germinate the seed but whether it will grow outside is another story. Ive germinated a lot of tree and shrub seeds from the Canaries but they don't last very long out side. Hence I have window cills full of the ruddy things what for I'm not entirely sure! I don't think I shall be bringing many seed back next year, Ive run out of window cills. :roll:

It's a hot desert plant, no chance of it surviving outdoors!
