Replace your Gunnera manicata with Gunnera albocarpa. That should free up a bit of space.

The garden is never done, it's not all about just buying more plants.

Kris is right. Your garden is another room of the house, if you decorate your lounge you don't think to yourself you'll never have to do it ever again.
You stated you like gardening more than the actual garden? As we approach the winter months, you can now apply your garden knowledge in thinking up some more 'tweaks'. Your hanging babylon idea looks good, try to add a tiered effect to a border and utilise the space above your garden. Your mission, should you choose to accept it......

Change style completely?

Take on a specific species and grow-to-show? Dahlias or Chrysanthemums, or veg. perhaps?

Expand your hobby sideways - e.g. Train some plants. A really tall cone shaped Fuchsia for example, or a collection of Bonsai?
