more a question for people with mature gardens
my garden is full up now, bar a little tweaking or any deaths.

Re: what now the gardens full?
wait till you get sick or bored of a plant and rip it out and try something new.
always think of new ideas and constantly change it. A couple of years ago my nan thought her garden was FINISHED and now in the years since the garden has changed so much

Just buy ever smaller plants.
Most of my purchases this year have been wee things like Cyclamen and Ajuga.

You are growing too many hardy plants. You need stuff that die each year and need replacing.

Set up an exotic garden installation & maintenance service locally. Charge a fortune. Make a fortune. Buy a big garden. Ditch all your clients

I can remember thinking the same thing back in the summer of 2009.

I'm in the same boat Ken, just gotta wait for stuff to keel over or get shot of stuff.
Think I may get bored tho, I need something to do.

Your thinking so two dimensionally, that's so 2012!
2013 is all about the vertical gardening, Green walls, Green roofs.
Plus you could always give me some of your plants to give you some room for new ones

You know Adam,Most of my purchases this year have been wee things like Cyclamen and Ajuga.
I put Cyclemen in an hanging basket with other small plants, it looks great...pink and white with yellows and reds.

I probably have one of the smallest gardens on the site and don't think mine will ever be finished, you just have to be more inventive,
