searching for plants and Pentagonia macrophylla came up

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Penta ... =773&dpr=1

some other names in the genus sound like amazing plants too but that is about all I can find out about these plants, just a list of names.

help finding pictures and more information would be nice.

Fully tropical with no frost tolerance, you'd need a heated greenhouse.

Mr L if you are looking to grow something different you could do worse than look at Silverhill Seeds, South Africa. It has some photos and hardiness ratings. icon_thumright

Dunno whether in the same vein, but I have ordered seeds from a couple of companies in Australia, trading on eBay:

kenni_koala_seeds - Kenni Koala's Aussie Seed Store
http://myworld.ebay.com.au/kenni_koala_seeds/

muzzadb - Murray Cubis
http://myworld.ebay.com.au/muzzadb/

(Make sure you use eBay Australia, not UK or DotCom as although the vendors are listed for some reason lots of their listed items don't seem to show up)

Both delivered promptly and (dunno if I was lucky) I had no problems with customs

sometimes it is nice just to learn and read about plants you don't have to always consider growing them.

after all we need to see the truly tropical before we can attempt to mimic it.

I have bought tree grass seeds from Kenni Koala`s, they dident germinate. I dont blame the supplier though. I dont think any one in this country has ever germinated them. But you have to give it a go. icon_thumright
