Anyone uncovered there musa basjoo yet?, just debating whether to set them free as it's looking very mild temp wise here for at least the next few wk's. karl.

Not that it's any use to you, but mine never get covered. and with Pstems 10 to 12ft I wouldn't even if I could manage too.
Though they do end up looking like this with all these winds, and even new rollers get snapped annoyingly (Pics taken today)

None of mine are outside but if they were they would get unwrapped a bit in Mid march if the weather was mild then fully unwrapped in April.

That's normally when I uncover kris, its just the mild temp's might give them a good airing .

Mine have not been covered all winter but then I have a quick method of insulating mine. Plastic drainage pipe insulated with Airtec. Takes seconds to slide over the top. You do have to cut the leaves off to slide the pipe over the top though.

I also use large underground pipe but wrap the outside in fleece.

One of my new ones have been left outside all winter ands been fine unprotected.
