I've been interior designing today, I haven't removed the panels so the photos are fairly close up but I'll take some more at a later date.

Couldn't imagine what it was gonna look like when you had all your slabs piled up all over the garden, but now its finished I think it looks great, very unique. Your temple will be a great place for the Summer and the poshest plant storing place around for Winter.

No, I had a look at the plastic ones in a local store but they didn't seem real enough or sturdily made.

These are silk and a lot better held together so, hopefully, won't end up falling apart on a windy day when the panels are out. I used a staple gun with 2.5 inch staples into the wood so I think they'll stay in place.

My father in law has a saying
Don't spoil the ship for a ha'penny worth of tar which, with the onset of decimalisation and steel hulls, probably has outdated that saying.
So go get some tillandsias, bromeliads and epipremnum and keep it real dude

Flounder I did honestly give a huge amount of thought to how I could get plants to look like they'd invaded but the problems of drainage and amount of soil necessary to be held in such odd areas seemed too big a hurdle.

It could have been done but it would have cost 20 times what the silks cost and would have meant problems to solve that weren't there otherwise.

WTF are you on about anyway, surely you don't think that's a real temple ruin? The whole thing is faker than Pam Andersons tots! The last few hundred posts in this blog sort of demonstrate that it hasn't been there for 500 years.
