You're welcome, thanks for the Ricinus and Brug ;)

It was good to meet you and chat about the perils of exotic gardening in the North West.

You'll be able to get me back Flounder, automatic promotion is now looking relatively unlikely for the Owls.

That is quite an achievement, especially considering you're not a builder or landscape gardener, but just picking it up as you go along.

I really like well thought out hard landscaping. Plants come and go, but the design of your garden, the solid materials are so important, IMO.

What I really like about this is how it's a celebration of English eccentricity, the sort of thing you do out of love and enthusiasm for the style you want to achieve. It's not a blanket quick patio-ing / lawn-ing of the garden to add value, but a labour of love. It's also the swankiest greenhouse I've ever seen, but with a dual function, in the summer without the panels it will be a very cool folly. A real talking point for BBQs or a place to chill with a beer.

Bet it would look amazing with subtle lighting on a summer's evening.

Great work! icon_thumleft

Thanks Roger, that very kind of you to say I'm eccentric, Trudy calls me mental
