Great jungle affect, I'd love to be able to replicate that style, but the dog and the kids wouldn't agree lol

The best set of photos on your blog by a mile! Everything looks really good. Especially like the narrow bamboo corridor.

Agree with Kris, some really nice photographic work. Not sure I'm keen on the 3D thing, it does look 3D but hurts your eyes

Thanks for sharing pics. I used to live in Leeds (Stratford st) and have seen a few houses like yours, but not a garden! I love your pathway it reminds me of a little path that led to my grandma's cottage. Lovely garden.

The one in the photo. The path on the right side of your garden.Mr List wrote:what narrow bamboo corridor?Yorkshire Kris wrote:The best set of photos on your blog by a mile! Everything looks really good. Especially like the narrow bamboo corridor.

Nice pics Ken, your scheffie rhodo's are very different to mine where did you buy them from?
Re: Mr List Blog - 4th year 2013
mark fillan plants for the scheffleras
kris do you mean the little brown wooden walkway?
you're confusing me since I don't have any bamboo constructed path nor a line of bamboo i'd call a bamboo corridor.
the washing line had to go, the garden had no balance in height at all.

I think Kris means that bit by your gate, your path is lined both sides by bamboo, or looks so in the pic.

Yes that bamboo bit.
Re: Mr List Blog - 4th year 2013
Allowing for that washing line has probably made all the difference to your garden, Ken.
Twenty-eight years ago I had to design my garden around Sand's three washing lines and I have to say I was very pleased with the result. Over the years they have been wittled down to one and some redesigning around this lone piece of cord has made the garden look even better (to accomodate even more exotics, of course).
Don't think the result would have been as good if I insisted the line had to go, I was glad to be made to tow the line
