Yes, Final is first to 18. The last frame tonight went to 62 all, with just the black left. O'Sullivan won it taking it to 10-7, but had Hawkins potted the black it would have been 9-8, so is a closer match than might appear.GoggleboxUK wrote:Ronnie O'Sullivan leads Barry Hawkins 10-7 after the first day of the World Championship final, conclusion tomorrowAdam D wrote:Who won the snooker?

Re: Dave B's Blog - Spring at last :)
The Lunar Module with all it's survival blankets reflects the sun in from the walls, and at this time of year becomes a solar oven. It isn't the temperatures that are a problem as only gets to about 30C, but the humidity drops off the scale in the little desktop weather station, so is below 20% for much of the day. This will be a real Red Spider Mite fest
Today, the Lunar Module was transformed into the Tropical Island, by putting up the Hawaiian Party backdrop up covering survival blankets.

That is fantastic! you know what i'd sit in there in me shorts, and consider it a tropical sauna, spend 15 minutes until its dripping off me, then run through the sprinkler!
Certainly beats the sauna at the gym

Eventually, IF, summer night time temps stay above 10C, then the doors will come off so it becomes a covered area of the garden.cordyman wrote:

As expected, removing the solar oven, has meant it is the last we'll see of the sun this year, but this is the view from my desk on a chilly, dull NEasterly harr morning. You certainly wouldn't be dripping out there, as only 17.0C
Best regards

I don't stay in the garden long enough to watch tele there...Love it, camping with all the home comforts
Last pic in poly looks real tropical, the redness reminds me of the first flight I took to Tenerife, as we came in to land the sky was brilliant red right accross the skyline.
Lovely Images Dave!

Yes Kata, Sunrise/set is always good from a plane
This pic is a portrait orientation panorama, on the new camera, of garden on a very dull June day.The portrait bit is turning the camera on it's side giving more height, rather than the normal 'letter box'. Considering the light levels are the highest they can get, looked more like winter. Although it's not been warm, temps are high enough for many Warm Temperate exotics to grow well.
Dicksonia antarctica are looking particularly well, and the garden has 'greened' up even though only about 50% planted yet.
