It gets more people than you might think. The ally beside the Roman Villa, is the only link between the two housing estates, and is the main drag for dog walkers. Many people stop and talk about the garden as they are passing through.

Thats great people appreciate it and recognise it for its uniqueness! Have you had any local tropical converts?

If i'd have never found this forum from my first cordyline enquiry, but stumbled across a front garden like that, i'd have been instantly given the tropical hobby and desire to replicate!

Yes, it loved the wet summer of 2012, and the warmth of 2013. Seems to be putting on around 6 to 9" (15 to 25cm)of trunk per year.

Cant wait to get my Robusta going now, great growth over the years for yours.

I bought the Butia in 1992, and was probably 5 or 6 years old, so around 25/30-ish years old
