Nick,

Kids pull leaves off and throw them as they travel to school or when playing out. If you find some discarded leaves dip them in rooting powder... :lol: :lol:

the sun was out, the kids were in bed so i took some pics of the front garden

Is that rex a Cornish Grooved or Carolpz type?

Not sure, it was a root cutting from red squirrel so whatever he has

Wow your front garden has come on loads, looks very very lush. I love a nice attractive front garden.
Thoses Red Robins are coming along at a good pace too, how high are you going to let them get to?

They really do motor, I am going to keep it as a low hedge maybe 3ft. not sure if it will be a neat square cut hedge or a rougher rounded top yet though- dont want to make too much work for myself

yep 2nd year echium, I have 3 second year ones that survived winter (2 died) hoping for a flower. thought a couple were flowering but theyve multiheaded :?
I have just planted 10 more seedlings out front though so should look pretty good next year
