Are D Squarrosa easy to pick up. Quite like the look of these.

D Squarrosa are not easy or cheep but well worth the effort.

They are quite tender but nice ferns would need superb protect ion or bringing into a frost free area.
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.

Oh Tom, Rob will protect it ok, even in summer,

He is fanatical about protection all seasons.

I have two D Squarrosa, they can take a little frost, if you get one I can tell you how best to protect it.

I am contemplating a other tree fern. Either a 1ft C Smithii or a 3ft D Squarrosa? Don't know what to order.

I already have a job for next year. Again my grass as died and I have no idea what is causing it! I think when I re lay it next year it will be the 5th time in two years. :roll:
