Nice capture, can't be that many recorded here.

There now over 55 Spoonbills in Poole harbour and it is only the end of September! Could still be more to follow.
it must be only a matter of time before they breed here.

Not many, no! First record ever for the northeast. Well pleased to have seen it, first one I've seen anywhere myself icon_thumright

Likely very under-recorded in Britain generally of course, because it is so secretive.

There have been quite a few seen down here, mainly at Portland Bill but always briefly! still on my 'unseen' list.

Saw a single treecreeper on Alnus cordata trunks in the nursery on Friday.I think that its the first one that i have seen in this location.Hope theres a pair and they breed here this spring.

Still plenty, though the more the further south you go (e.g. hardly any in Northumbs or Scotland). For locations, check through recent tweets and retweets on twitter by https://twitter.com/HawfinchesUK

There are a lot down here but scattered in small flocks and ones and twos, I saw my first ones last month but drew a blank today.
