That's a very cool video! Nice find Tom ;)

It made me think about how we used to turn off all the lights during the war to stop enmy bombers from seeing where we were. Kinda makes me think that if alien bombers are flying around up there then they'll be bombing the hell out of us very easily. I never realised that much light would be visible from space.

Breathtaking. I wonder if/how this has been enhanced? It is really that impressive from space? I can't imagine the light is really that bright from so high up. icon_scratch If it really is that impressive I want to go up and see for myself!

A friend at work is into his astronomy in a big way and tells me the light "pollution" at that altitude really is that visible. :shock:

Very good video! Also nice to see the thunder from above. It also clearly show the impact man has on this planet! And more light will come probably as the human population keeps on growing on whats allready a planet suffering from overpopulation!
