Mine was just the one flounder..a baby one.

So far I've killed 12 from 3 plants! I just check each morning and afternoon and there's always at least 1 on each plant.

I'm in the same area as you Javeo, and I've given up with Lilies. I watched day after day removing and killing any that I found, and you only had to miss one day and the leaves were stripped off the plant. :(

I hear you Dave, last year the lillies were potted and we got so many flowers and the lovely scent but there were hardly any leaves on the stems. I transplanted the bulbs into the ground this year, threw away the pot compost. If it happens again this year I'll probably follow suite, no point in growing pest food.

I was amazed at my neighbours Lillies last year, she stripped the leaves on purpose and they looked great....

I thought at first it was a new kind.

12 Beetles is an aweful lot Javeo. Pity you had to stop growing the Lilies Dave.

As much as I love them, I used provado on them last year daily, but still razed to the ground.

After my lillies were ruined I found the beetles on my trachys, looked like they were chomping!   That was the last straw, lillies banned from the cordyhouse

Last year was the first year that I've seen a lily beetle. So far this year I saw around 20 in one pot!

Wow Kris, I thought my one was an early one,

Cordy, what ever would they want a Trachi for? Nothing to eat really unlike Lillies.

My Crocosmias had a Lily Beetle last year, I found that strange.

They have been moving steadily north over the last few years.

They've been up here (100 km north of YK) for several years now.
