Hardy Tropical

Bridled Tern on the Farne Islands today icon_cheers icon_cheers icon_cheers

Really strange seeing a bird from the Caribbean and tropical African coasts, among Arctic Terns on a chilly North Sea coast!

Well, I didn't see all of them . . . but there's about 80,000 Puffins on the Farnes at the moment . . . or 120,000 if you include the chicks in their nests

So it's a bit like going to Old Trafford on a match day and then being asked, "Did you see any people?"

Well at least you didn't think it was in Egypt and ask if he'd seen an Ibis.
