Haven't seen the robins much since the hot weather, they do tend to disappear over the cooler woods when it gets warm.
As for squirrels, don't get them in my garden but friends have their pots decimated by them as they have a nasty habit of burying stuff. Quite funny to see peanuts growing out of a planter!

Hilarious Flounder,

Thanks Clive!!
cat, fox? Mice or rats maybe?
Squirrels are very timid, any sudden movement (human) they stop dead. I remember how weird it made me feel as it darted then stopped accross the fence. This was in my old town...grey ones.

 I never knew if to go forward or back in the garden when they were on that fence.

Each bungalow had a five foot dry stone wall, there were 20 bungalow. The Squirrel would run along from one end of the terrace to the other end, grabbing what it could as it went. This happened several times a day.
