I have a massive book collection bordering on the ridiculous mainly collected over the last 15 years but mainly books on vegetable and mainstream gardening and only in the last four or five years have I been buying more specialised books. The sad thing is my collection is so large I am only able to keep the books I use most often out on display for reference and regular use and store the rest. The main bulk are now having to be stacked one on another filling a built in bedroom cupboard unit and unless its important information it is too much trouble to sort through them all to look something up and it is just quicker to look on the net if the information is available. The good news is the my other interest is fine woodworking so when I finally have time to finish my workshop I will be making a massive wall mounted surround bookcase on my bedroom wall so all my books can be displayed and accessed easily, I may then start buying a couple more

It's a fact that the 'net has knocked reference to books on the head, but on the plus side, the web info is up to date
