Bramley apple haul.

Post by cheshirepalms » Sun Aug 11, 2013 6:40 pm

Took a picture of my Bramley apple tree before I harvested the apples, they are fully a month ahead of last year and only its second year from a dormant stick last spring. The heat in July has definitely sped up the ripening, apple crumble it is. :D

Just as an untrained but controlled tree is the plan, don’t want it up against the fence as a fan or anything. Its about 8 foot now from less than 4 foot last spring, and that includes Autumn pruning last year. All the fruit is concentrated in the middle.
