Didn't know where to stick this one, so its here!
Finally got some pics of the phoenix plasticus :roll:

Which ever dumb wit in the council is responsible for those monstrosities should be put against a wall and thwacked repeatedly with a real palm frond :roll: , they look like giant lego palm trees, only lego looks somewhat more realistic. Horrible!!!

What a dreadful sight?

Just for comparison heres how they do it in Napier ,New Zealand.

Mind you Southampton shopping malls and recreation areas are nearly as bad as that street scene in Brighton.

GOD help us if this is what people really want in our Cities.
