I saw that one Dee, noticed the bid and wondered if it was you. Really nice piece!

I quite like this one but not sure if it's worth £22 with the postage, this seller needs to get a MyHermes account and bring their costs down.

Not thick at all Dee, I have only been intoroduced to them in the last year since the Royal Mail price hikes.

They are a courier company who also have a good network of drop off points all around the UK.

They charge on weight rather than size and are significantly cheaper:

I regularly ask ebay sellers to use them rather than Royal Mail and can make things muchcheaper. Be warned though, prices EXCLUDE VAT.

The P&P is £10 on that piece but if sent via MyHermes it would be £7.20. Items under 5kg are just £4.20.

Stick it on the scales when you get it Dee ;)

That 'diving' Buddha I was looking at said 7kg so I guess it could be a similar weight.

My plaques are arriving tomorrow, lets compare pics when we get them.

Oh my word, I wasn't prepared for the weight of these beasts!

Very pleased with my purchase though, they look fantastic and I can't wait to get them up on the fence once the weather has warmed a little.

bought a Stihl HSE 61 electric hedge trimmer for my smaller jobs .... bargain off ebay (£46 plus £12.50 shipping and looks in good condition) ... some places sell them for £180

it's good for the smaller hedges/properties and can cut branches up to 29mm thick ....

Dee are those little dots a different coloured material in the cast or are they air bubbles?

If they are small holes and you want to encourage moss to grow on your Buddha head then just fill them with a mix of fine compost dust and yoghurt to make the perfect breeding ground for moss and algae.

Nice buy!

yes gogs they are holes but they look bigger, more pronounced in the pic. ill do that, it will look good with moss growing on it..
