I thought i'd post some more on this
the following image shows information for the month of January 2009. The following image shows the number of different browsers that the site is viewed from, Internet explorer menas all versions. i would just to point out someone is looking at the site from a PS3, now if they're looking at this does the site look ok on there??????

Oh dear, look at all those people using Internet Explorer I use Firefox at the moment, but I see you've got separate sections for Mozilla and Firefox, but when I go into programs, it's listed as Mozilla Firefox? Are they actually different browsers? And come one, who's viewing from their PS3

Re: HTUK Forum Post Rates
Mozilla became Firefox basically which means those people are using a browser that was made back in .... 2002/3 maybe.
another thing has someone got an 'in jacket' browser - blazer?

It's all interesting stuff.
I use IE on my desktop and laptop.
Although I don't have an 'in jacket' browser - I must also feature in those Safari hits, as Safari is what my iPhone uses. That's great for being able to check the forum when I'm on the move - although the couple of times I've tried posting from it has nearly driven me round the twist - as the little keypad on the touch screen doesn't really lend itself to writing much and there've been a couple of occassions when I've persevered and typed a post only to lose the 3G/Edge connection so the post is lost anyway
Overall though - I like it - I'm not an Apple-basher

I'm probably a big amount of the Chrome hits, but loads of the IE ones from work.
I'm not sure if I was the PS3 hit, I might have tested it when setting up the Wi-fi. Will have a go later, and maybe try the Wii as well -
I also used a colleagues iPhone this week, first site I went to was HTUK.

the following again shows the browsers accessing the site
The average number of users on the site at any one time was 7.4Re: HTUK Forum Post Rates
I have looked at this site from my playstation 3 and it looks fine , just the same as using IE on my laptop , only difference is the pictures look great on my big TV rather than my laptop screen ....

Re: HTUK Forum Post Rates
so how does the site look on there? does it work alright?
Re: HTUK Forum Post Rates
Yeah its actually running Opera (real not mobile) at 480x800. Zooms well.
Things like the bbc news read better as the columns are thinner, but hey. I can get HTUK anywhere now, including when we were at Kew Gardens.
