Re: Snow predictions.
I've just asked my Scottish missus and she is saying February 16th. I hope it's later than that cos she must have come from a tropical part of Scotland as she is always nagging at me to turn the heating up!!

Re: Snow predictions.
A cold arctic air mass over Alaska and the Yukon has effected our much more southern latitudes. -2.2°C last night made it the coldest night of the season. An inch of wet snow fell as well which by all reports should melt today.
The cold Arctic air rotates over the polar regions west to east, so you all should see a cooling trend by next week depending on it's rate of migration.
Cheers, Barrie.

Re: Snow predictions.
Current forecast for here is for it to get wet, windy, and much warmer (10° to 11°) again by Weds.

Milding up here (in comparison to what weve had). One or two cool days, but back to a normal winter fare - nights largely above freezing, days around the seasonal average.Las Palmas Norte wrote:A cold arctic air mass over Alaska and the Yukon has effected our much more southern latitudes. -2.2°C last night made it the coldest night of the season.
