Sat night snow was the mildest night we've had in ages. Only minus 0.5C :)

Kids set their alarms to get out into garden at 7.30AM:

yes its bad out there, although I think its been above -5C for most of the time. Our local weather station is predicting -8C's and -9C's during the night later this week, I sincerely hope not. Whilst my Dicksonia antarctica's and smaller pots are safe in the poly house my planted waggies could die IF it proves to be right. icon_thumbdown icon_thumbdown icon_thumbdown

It looks like we will get in the region of -5C to -7C here tonight, currently dropping like a stone.. 0.7C and decreasing by about 3C/hr

Everythings wet too, so it's perfect breeding ground for plants losses and rot.

This high has outstayed it's welcome, it's becoming irritating for everyone, and is just causing misery everywhere.

Just a light frost up here at -2C. Normal winter weather for us.

I know that some of you are having it a lot worse than here but I don't think any of you would begrudge me a normal winter after the last two that I have had to go through.
