Finally started settling here, but it's easing off now too. Forecast was 5cm, actual total is under 5mm.

in drift area here 3" ...the rest 2".....

The Mrs said she would be happy with just 2"'sas she is sick of it all :wink:

Rain all day here, but the ground was iced up, due to the cold surface.

Plants are covered with ice, and looking extremely sad.

Raining here now. This can only be a good thing in my opinion, I hope it rains all night as it will go a long way towards thawing everything out.

I don't have anothe minus forecast until Wednesday night so that will be a good recovery period for the plants, especially the 9c they're forecasting for Weds daytime.

i go outside for a smoke here,last night,sweat shirt,jumper,gert big coat and -8c, tonight like just now in a t shirt at 3c. what a difference 24 hours can make.
luckily i got the rain shelters up this morning before the snow came,then it rained and washed it all away.would have some seriously wet plants if it froze tonight but we got there just in the nick of time

Well i had spoke too soon, started up again about 30mins ago.
Chucking it down, could be quite deep in the morning at this rate.
