I really must buy a weather station or decent thermometer at least and then i could join in on threads like this. Saying that i would guess my temps have been pretty well in line with goggs` or Stephens. Maybe better.

30.9°F (-0.6°C).
With just five week in, 2012 has a long way to go.
Cheers, Barrie.

Re: YOUR Top 10 worst temps of 2012

Re: YOUR Top 10 worst temps of 2012
Not sure about 10 but the lows have been:
-5.7
-5.4
-3.3
-3
The rest have obviously been higher than -3 so not really worth worrying about. As far as plant damage goes, my Zantedescia (sp) has colapsed (always does), Podophyllum has collapsed but should come back from the roots, my Farfugium Gigantium is showing leaf damage but I think it will be fine (I covered it for the worst).
Everything else looks ok aside from a wind battered Trachycarpus and Bamboo, the bamboo will be moved and replaced with a more wind tolerant variety, but I think i`ll persist with the Trachycarpus where it is.
