stick an old 15 tog duvet on top, it should help keep any warmth in.

On my north facing side of the greenhouse i got bags of leaves stacked up to keep jack frost out, its helping to keep temps up during the night, lowest temp so far is 2.2c. icon_thumleft

So collect some leafs and use them to protect your plants and after winter's over you have leaf litter to use in the garden as a mulch or potting mix and its free icon_thumleft

I'm thinking of going for new year, (weather permitting), and do a new years flower count, they say they get over 200 species in flower like (aloes, protea's, Acacia , Hakea and Grevillea). they think they are in the southern hemisphere summer. icon_thumleft
