Stepped out of work this evening, and it felt like i'd walked off a plane :ahhh!:

Used to a chilly bite, but instead BAM 14*c!!!! windy as hell, but sooooooo warm.

Prefer crisp winter sunshine to spitting in the wind ("Never spit in to the wind") but I'll take the spit with 14c anytime in winter icon_cheers

Mild here as well with 12-13C on large scale at midnight. It's mild, but even more bizarre is the difference between a few days back when it was -10C on large scale.

left gym at 9pm to a toasty 12*c

reminded me of a spring evening. Sublime night time temp for this time of year, my Musa Basjoo has pierced the protection, LOL!

It was mild, but when I opened the front door it was not the temperature that hit me, but the deafening crescendo of crashing Trachycarpus leaves, and roar of Eucalyptus.
Best regards

A textbook foehn setting up here today.. currently 11.2C and rising fast, humidity dropping like a stone, and wind gusts up to 65mph... it's nasty out there, but should it reach 15C, all will be forgiven

Looking colder for us all into the weekend especially north and east. nothing silly though.
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.

not been on here for a fair while! lol

last two weeks of the snowy weather over here by the northeast coast wasnt majorly bad in terms of extremely low temps i dont think. probably lowest was -6 or 7.. yeah it was cold and snowy like everywhere else, but didnt seem as bad as 2010/11 :P just bus & train travel was the main pain in the 'arris, getting to and from uni in Middlesbrough..

a little Phoenix canariensis_CIDP i currently have exposed to the elements still looks fine :)
