Had an 18 minute thunderstorm this afternoon, which gave me 3.05mm, but the big one is just arriving now. Rain started about 10 mins ago and is getting darker and darker.

I just hope the hail warning was over the top for here.

This is the radar for 55 mins ago.

It's just passing over here. Quite a bit of thunder and quite a bit of much needed rain. No hail and I'm surprised how warm it still feels
my name is flounder, but you can call me.............flounder! (or Gary, just don't call me late for dinner)

Just light rain here at the moment and everything is still dusty and quite dry.

Quite a lot cooler then this morning as the temperature has now dropped to +21c only.

At least I have got 1 inch of water in the water butt up to now so that should settle the dust.

Been lashing it down here since 7pm. It had got to 30c earlier but is now at 16c. Saves me watering anything for a few days.
