I don't think it will be as cold as expected either, the southern half of the country is not that cold.

Nope.

It dropped to 1c here around 8pm but has now risen and is currently at 2.7c here.

No sign of a minus all week according to the Beeb too.

They say that for here too, but Im absolutely certain that I'll see at least a -2C before next Monday, that's guaranteed without question! However where I live is a mini frost trap so it always happens anyway.

It dropped to +2c yesterday evening before the wind and rain rolled in. It was +9c leaving the house at 5.10 this morning. Lowest so far this Season is +0.7c recorded a few weeks back.

Frost early last night but gone by this morning, Cannas and Begonia Gryphon collapsed and browned overnight.

The forecast low for here was -2c, I didn't trust it. Good job too as it went to -3.8c.

Met Office Yellow Weather Warning tonight for snow in Cumbria, Greater Manchester and Cheshire. No warning for Lancashire though which does seem a little strange considering those 3 counties practically surround Lancs.

I can only put it down to the high ground to the east providing some shelter. Currently 5c and dry here.
