I thought that the other storms where bad where I am but not like today. I really think some serious damage may be done. the wind is howling and the rain is banging on the windows. Not a great start weather wise for 2014.

I hope it subsides Rob. I hate storms, the potential damage is worrying..

My whole garden is literally shaking with the wind.

Same here I got woken by the wind. No damage done though . next storm... Friday!

My blowaway GH fell apart and I put it back together in the gales and rain.
The plastic cover is torn, will have to replace it once the stormy season is over.

It's chucking it down and blowing a gale and it's dark at 2:30pm like at dusk.

I was also woken by the howling winds.

I would say for me its been the worst.

Its still not stopped here.

settled for the last few hours, but kicking off again now, just as i'm about to venture out to the farm, great

Rained a lot but calm, its been fine for a few hours now,

Hope your weather Improves soon.

It seems to have calmed down but I'm guessing its going to come back soon.

I got a good days gardening in this morning. Rain only reached here at sunset, no winds yet. Think I prefer light frosts to gale force winds, at least until my windbreaks grow.
