someone has it? who? admit it :)

There's a thin band of snow showers moving west to east, mainly on high ground, but some to lower levels.. who has seen, probably, their first snow of the winter this evening?

I've seen it tonight in Buxton driving home from work, it was causing havoc on the roads, especially A6 between Buxton and Bakewell.
it was odd, is it possible for lightening? There was two streak flashes in the sky about 10 minutes apart. It didnt light the sky up or a jagged strike but a line horizontally across the sky, no thunder either. then it started to hail very fast, then the next thing I know the snow is falling fast, the roads are covered and I'm skidding all over the place slaloming round cars with their hazsrds on.

Had 5 minutes of sleet earlier today just around dusk. Very short lived and more wet than cold, more transparent than white.

I had a brief, but heavy/thundery hailstorm also, enough to make everything white, and make a 'snowball' with.
Lasted around 20 mins then dried up completely.

Non here,

My son mentioned snow this morning he had seen yesterday. His job takes him all over East Lancashire so he could have seen it anywhere really.

Keep them plants warm Cody.

Of anything frozen falling, I can only report a very sharp hailstorm around midday yesterday.
