The haze has lifted a bit allowing some stronger sunshine in, and accordingly it's 15.6C right now.

It's 'only' 20C here, and supposed to be 21C tomorrow so the garden should see 23C, maybe more.

No mist, a blue sky save for a few patches of haze.

I'm in the garden right now, wearing only a bathing suit. Nice to be barefoot on the fresh, cool grass icon_thumleft

Will try and mount a hammock later today.

I managed to finish potting up, moved a rose tree, moved the Fern...blimey they are really heavy so I rolled it............

Repotted a Basjoo and potted a Canna lily. Then found a red Lobelia just starting up.

Good day really but now will feel what I did today tomorrow.

There wer'nt many roots on the Fern.

By my reckoning it could reach 20C here today. Currently 11C and rising, with hazy sunshine.

If we carry on at this anomaly throughout summer, and then Autumn, we will get the warmest year on record

am I think too far ahead?

I just hope these last 3 days of March put the central London WG stations back into the above 10C mean territory, so we get officially 8 months of above 10C average and satisfy the criteria for subtropical.

But either way my sheltered garden will be subtropical icon_thumleft
