Don't worry, I don't mean wintery weather is on the way, although night temperatures will fall steeply over the coming weeks in inland areas of UK, this is where we start to see the difference between the UK and Europe in terms of climate.
On average for England and Wales the temperature maximum for the beginning of November is around 12C and minimum (again on average over England and Wales) is about 8C. As we get into Europe the average temperature for daytime maximum over central Europe is 9C, and the minimum for the beginning of November is around 4C, so we will start to see big differences between temperature in Europe and UK over the coming month up toward winter.
It's quite interesting really, so I'll keep a record of various cities over the next few weeks (taken on Midnight (GMT))
