Spend a penny

Post by RogerBacardy » Wed Jan 30, 2013 1:36 pm

How about we all cough up a penny per post? Seems a bit unfair that Dave spends so much time running this place, giving out free advice for little reward. Martin Lewis cashed in on his money saving forum!

I've already donated in the past, but would be happy to put my money where my mouth is and send in a tenner to cover my approaching 1000 posts. :)

Also, if we pay 1 pence per post then when we post here we could say we're 'spending a penny'.

I donated twice,

I will donate again, I also have my own hosting to pay which is due now.

I donate plenty all over. Wikipedia for text and Images, Bytesforall for the Wordpress theme. Macmillon nurses, and Orangutan survival.

We'll see who wants into a penny a post.

With donations, such as here, that don't have an annual reminder I make a repeat donation at Christmas. If I start my usage mid-year then the first donation I make is pro-rata for the months left in the year, so that I can then do another donation at Christmas.

A reminder would suit me better though ... presumably PayPal doesn't have that option ...
