wont post jpg pics from new android sony xpetia phone

Any ideas chaps. Finally updated myself and like to post plenty of pics but its saying file invalid.
A jpg, is a jpg so should be fine, but there are things that screw them up. It doesn't try to do something fancy with the pics, altering them ?
My fuji camera produces jpg files and windows 7 displays the thumbnails fine, but if I use Adobe Fireworks to edit/resize etc, windows 7 won't display them. Although the file when opened displays fine.
Do you know what size files it is uploading ?
