Just a quick hello i am glad to be joining a tropical forum my interests are mainly rare cacti and succulents and also other strange and unusual plants, fragrant plants, rare chillis...... The list goes on!

BTW what's a figo plant?

It's a Michelia or tropical magnolia also called the bananna shrub which grows small ish and should be ok in our British climate but I would keep it in the greenhouse or grow a few and experiment. It's a very fragrant plant which people say smells of bubblegum or banana or port etc... If you like I should have a couple of seeds spare if people are interested
