another newbie
I 'm a newbie but not really because i lurk here from time to time, but I think now it's time to introduce myself.
I first cultivated cactus and succulents for 20 years now, and I open myself now to other plants; palms since 2003, and other exotics now. Like read the topics here.
I 'm trying to create a exotic garden in my new place.

Some very nice plants. I like the yuccas from seed. How old are they?
Re: another newbie
The BIG boarder on the right hand side in the pic showing the BIG alocasia is to die for! that has the perfect layout for a jungle bed/boarder. The small hill as i call it would be similar to what you would find in the jungles. I LOVE IT! very impressed with your fruiting alocasia.

You play the game very well. It looks like you had a nice garden before. A brilliant idea to bring your garden with you. Perhaps you could share with us a little history of some of your plants and how you moved them.
Was your Alocasia always in a pot and will you lift it, pot and all, to shelter when the cold weather arrives?
How did you bring your Musa (Basjoo?)?
Does your new garden have a better climate for your plants than your old one?
Pardon! Beaucoup des questions You don't have to answer them all at once
