Arborescens, it's one of the only ones that is self fertile and comes true from seed.

Hi Alan,

Welcome to HTUK.

How's the T-Rex doing?? The three brugs are now well rotted and growing away nicely.

i have never had any flowers set to seed on this plant after two summers and it is always full of bees.

Try 'hand pollinating' Mr List, its easy enough icon_thumright
Remember that you have to use pollen from a different cultivar and it must be from the same group.
Warm group or Cold group (Sphaerocarpium) you can not cross the divide.(Although so claim to have icon_scratch )

Edited to add- unless its a self fertile Arborea! Then just shake the bloom a little when the pollen is ripe.

Welcome Alan! icon_cheers

Just one question! Does hand pollination make you go blind?!!

I hope you find this site useful, failing that entertaining! icon_thumleft
