i have never had any flowers set to seed on this plant after two summers and it is always full of bees.

Try 'hand pollinating' Mr List, its easy enough

Remember that you have to use pollen from a different cultivar and it must be from the same group.
Warm group or Cold group (Sphaerocarpium) you can not cross the divide.(Although so claim to have

)

Edited to add- unless its a self fertile Arborea!Then just shake the bloom a little when the pollen is ripe.
