That should keep for two or three years in that barrel - which should be just time enough for your back to recover before repotting/replanting again :lol:

Plant doing well it survived the transplant as getting the flower pods coming out now in total about 13 of them

Others may disagree but I would remove the flowers ASAP as they will be using up a lot of the palms energy rather than producing new roots.

99% of the people on this forum did not grow their Trachycarpus Fortunei with a coir under it.

I personally would advise against it as it could make the roots lazy.
