A little about my self- My name is Gray, I spent the last 20+ years in garden Maintenance (was private work)
The bug of tropical gardening started approx. 10 years ago after a visit to the eden project. I fell in love with the large leaf exotics..Don't tell the wife
... after that nothing really happened for six years in the way of purhasing T.plants. My back garden size is approx. width 21 feet x 40 feet long. quite small, with small pond and est. evergreens and the norm.
4 years ago my son wanted a party-BQ for his 21st so we tidyed the garden, cleared an area, then made some purchases of trop/exotics, happy days :
MUSA BASJOO (my first large leaf )--ARUNDO DONAX VAR.--2x NZ FLAX--TORBAY PALM--YUCCAS--AGAPANTHUS+ a few more smaller plants.
Well that was that the plants have established well........and no more purchases
2 months ago I come across DAVE BROWN-Hardy Tropicals UK on youtube (plus others) I hit the link that transported me to this site. You got me hook, line and sinker....all your beautiful gardens and advice has made me buy more tropical plants and seeds....So I blame you all!!!!!!!!
