Hello an thankyou to you all, from the Tamar valley Cornwall.
Hi everyone,i would like to introduce myself,to you awesome bunch of people .I have been a keen gardener for about eight or nine years, starting of as a big fan of mediterranean style gardens.Everything changed, when i came across Dave's video on jungle exotic planting and i saw my first Basjoo!Thankyou to you all on this forum for the huge amount of expert help and advice(everytime i put a google search in for info on a new exotic plant i came across,i would end learning the truth here!).I am fully aware of my privileged location on the Devon/Cornwall border and intend to push my luck, on what i can get awy with growing here.I am fairly trigger happy with a camera and i know you are all keen to see garden photos,so i will try and work out how to post them as soon as possible. All the best, Half Hardy(the other half Laurel according to my wife ).Real name Andy.

Welcome!
I like the idea that your willing to push boundries with your tropicals.
Does this concern palm trees too? We've been having lots of debates about Washingtonia robusta lately on here.
Look forward to seeing pictures of your tropical garden!

Welcome Andy!
I'm on a short break in Cornwall this week staying at St Mawes so prepare some nice weather for my arrival!
Loads of nice places to visit there so I'll be quite busy I think!
Get your pics up soon as we love seeing them!
