Are you talking about that one ? It's a cholla tree which is very hardy and can stand with no damage lots of snow : Cylindropuntia spinosior.

Thanks for the info on the Agave, Franck. I hope I am growing one of these. In Spring of last year I sowed a tray of five different Agaves in neat rows of one variety each and before they germinated I lost the labels for them :ahhh!: Only three individual plants germinated in three of the five rows. One is growing a la vitesse, so I hope this is ovatifolium although it is too early to tell.

I shall be comparing mine with your picture for the next few years, je crois icon_thumright

Can't decide which is better, Franck, the stylish garden furniture complimenting the planting or the superb planting complimenting the garden furniture :D

Either way, both are a superb example of (as the British say) "The French chic".

Thanks Greville. I would like thinking my garden is so hot as you say, but winters are colder than yours in UK (-15°c in 2012). Big difference is a very long and pretty hot summer. Thank you for your comment anyway.

The sound is an unreleased version (back from Ibiza this summer) of 'get lucky' (daft punk cover). Don't know who is the female performer singing, but I like. You can find some chill version available of this title from daughter, karen souza, and some others...

Cheers,

Franck :D
