Luca from Italy
Luca from Italy
Hallo!
my names is Luca, and I'm Italian.
Excuse me, for my bad english, please be patient with me!
In my country, the gardening is not developped as in england, you are very interesting.
I hope to learn from you, and I can be helpful in someway!
Have a nice day,
Luca

Re: Luca from Italy
Hi Luca, and welcome
I notice that you are from North Italy so you will have warmer summer's than most of us, but what is your winter like ? What winter lows to you get ?

Re: Luca from Italy
Many thanks for your welcomes!
Tomorrow, if don't rain, I make some photo for you, but my garden is not a tropical garden, I don't know if it's interesting for you...
Where I live, the climate is more extreme compared to your, hot in summer (maximum over 30°C) and in winter the minimum temperatures falls generally around -5°C, with peaks up to -15°C, the average temperature is 0/+1°C. In summer we have a little rain, practically only as thunderstorm (and this is not good!).
I don't have a real greenhouse, I have a temporary structure, near the house, that can be disassembled, wherein the lowest temperature is 2°C.

Re: Luca from Italy
wow, a fantastic garden, even if not tropical If you have enough space erect a greenhouse or polytunnel to overwinter things. We also use rope lights under cover to protect plants.
Your garden has great potential
