I'm trying to sort out my garden at the moment as I've only been living there for about 19 months. After removing 14 conifers (!!!), I have started planting out stuff.

Currently planted:
Musa basjoo
Melianthus major
Gunnera Manicata
Kniphofia
Yuccas
Phoriums
Cordyline

I've got some cannas, colocasia, agaves & hedychiums in pots and they probably won't go into the ground until next year now.

Will try and take a few pix over the weekend and post them. But it is work in progress at the moment!!

Trachicarpus fortunei?

No, no trachicarpus fortunei. I do have a phoenix canariensis which isn't looking too happy and I've got a small fan palm in a pot.

You need a tree fern.

I really want a tree fern, but my husband won't let me get one as he thinks they're too expensive. He said he might get me one for my 40th (a couple of years away)!!!
