Hello all,
Thanks for letting me join. I an in Scotland and grow various "Tropicals" currently outside here in frozen east Scotland I have tetrapanax, cymbidiums, alocasia, various canna, various ginger, iresine, various cacti and various palms. Until last winter I had a fourteen year old strelitzia reginae (sad to lose that one) Cacti are kept dry over winter but that's all the protection they get and the frost triggers flowering of the tetrapanax. gingers are starting to die back as is the alocasia. cymbidiums are sending up flower spikes (they flower in January). Look forward to contributing.
