A sunny good afternoon to you all icon_sunny
I'm currently in the garden moving large potted palms around as usual! It's only a small garden so keep changing them around trying to fine the perfect position for them all. Unfortunately im north facing and in the Midlands so there's plenty of unwanted shade here :(
I have mostly Trachys around 6 footers, also Butia, Brahea, tree ferns, Chamaerops and Torbay palms. Always looking for new additions and advice from you fellow enthusiasts :D

Thanks for the replies :) Yes a newbie to this site but still learning and growing my exotics list. I've learnt Phoenix Canary aren't as hardy as I thought! I'd love to grow slightly more tender palms but they are expensive when you have to keep replacing them. A Jubaea is next on my list to try and sounds like they should do well. Any advice on them please?

Hello. We don't have any shade so struggle to grow some plants. What look are you going for? Is it jungle or just general tropical style?

Thanks again for the welcoming replies :) yes il keep you updated and will definitely put photos on once I get activated for it.
I'm just general tropical look and have acers yuccas and bananas too, so it's quite mixed really. Trachys are my favourites but struggling to find them for a decent price since the Defra import ban. I normally use eBay but there's not many sellers near to me.

Contact Nigel at Hardy Palms. He doesn't have everything listed on his website so best to drop him an email or a message via Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/hardypalms/
