Hardy Tropicals UK

hi there,
my name is Jan and I'm from Northamptonshire and have loved tropicals fr years! Everyone thinks I'm mad and says nothing will grow but I've been happily growing bananas, cannas, colocasia's, palms etc for a good few years now!
My 'stocks' are running a bit low at the moment so have turned my conservatory into a garden centre- luckily I live on my own and my daughter has not long left home so it gives me more space, really looking forward to lots of reading and learning. Well, that's me, hello...….

oh no, not at all- somehow I just seem to be lucky with them sometimes but also have a fair few casualties. Hoping to learn the proper way of growing/caring etc from here. Already found some tips. What a fantastic site. thanks for having me!
